Common questions

Is a 4G or 5G backup good enough?

Often, yes — if it is sized for the traffic that actually matters and installed where it gets signal. We test the failover under load rather than assuming the sticker on the box.

How do we know the backup will work when it is finally needed?

Because it is exercised. We monitor both paths continuously and can fail the connection over deliberately, at a quiet time, so the first real test is not an emergency.

Will failover drop our phone calls and VPNs?

Not where we deploy same-address failover — the site keeps its public address on every path, so calls, VPNs and cloud sessions carry straight through an outage instead of reconnecting. Simpler installations fail over with a brief reconnect, and we will tell you plainly which you are getting.
