Who actually supports connectivity outside the metro footprint?

Distance changes the design

In the metro area, redundancy is a nice-to-have and a technician is twenty minutes away. Two hundred kilometres out, neither is true. Remote operations need connectivity that assumes trouble: multiple paths where possible, hardware that tolerates the environment, and management that works from anywhere.

Visibility instead of travel

The most expensive part of a remote fault is not the fix — it is the not-knowing and the driving. Monitoring the site’s power, connectivity and equipment means most problems are diagnosed before anyone leaves town, and many are fixed without leaving at all.
